Real Madrid extend contract with 37-year-old Modric until 2024

Real Madrid officially announced that the 37-year-old Modric has renewed his contract with Real Madrid until 2024.

Real Madrid Football Club has officially reached an agreement with Modric on the renewal of the contract, and the contract between the two parties has been extended until June 30, 2024.

Modric joined Real Madrid in 2012. In 11 seasons in white, he played 488 times and won 23 championships with the team: 5 Champions League titles, 5 Club World Cup titles, 4 UEFA Super Cup titles , 3 La Liga champions, 2 King's Cup champions, and 4 Western Super Cup champions.

During his time playing for Blancos, Magic Flute also won many personal honors: 2018 Golden Globe Award, 2018 FIFA Player of the Year, 2017/18 UEFA Player of the Year, 2017 Club World Cup Golden Globe Award, and he also won 6 times Selected for FIFA/FIFPro World Team of the Year.

At the national team level, he also won the Russia World Cup Golden Globe and the Qatar World Cup Bronze Ball.
