Man United to Sack Erik ten Hag – Sources
Erik ten Hag
will be sacked as Manchester United manager at the end of the season, according to sources speaking to Football Insider.
During a recent edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that ten Hag is likely to lose his job even if Man United emerged victorious against Manchester City in the FA Cup later in the month.
Following a disappointing season with the Red Devils currently positioned eighth on the Premier League table with only three games remaining, ten Hag witnessed his team lose 4-0 to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on May 6, inciting speculation about his future at Old Trafford.

Football Insider reported last month on the activities of Man United chiefs who are discreetly considering potential replacements. It appears increasingly probable that ten Hag, aged 54, will be let go after a series of poor recent performances.
Rumors suggest that Thomas Tuchel could step in as Man United manager. As Sir Jim Ratcliffe aims to make his mark on the club, numerous changes are anticipated at Old Trafford in the near future.
Insinuations have surfaced that the Man United chief is prepared to offload most of the first-team players this summer in a bid to revamp the squad. These developments cast severe doubt on ten Hag’s future, with last month’s report by Football Insider naming the departing Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel as the leading candidate to replace him.

According to O’Rourke, internal issues have impacted ten Hag’s position negatively. Jackson Sancho's situation, despite his notable performance on loan at Dortmund, has not worked in the club's favor. Unless unexpected twists occur, ten Hag’s term at Man United is unlikely to extend beyond this season, which has been largely forgettable for the club.
